With the delay of the implementation of ICD-10, many people are wondering what steps to take next.\u00a0According to the\u00a0new law<\/a>, ICD-10 may not be implemented before 10\/1\/15. However,\u00a0there is no guarantee that it will be implemented at that time<\/em><\/strong>. There is even speculation that ICD-10 may be skipped altogether in favor of ICD-11 which is\u00a0scheduled<\/a>\u00a0to be presented to the World Health Assembly in 2017. \u00a0Many are calling on the\u00a0Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)<\/a>\u00a0for guidance regarding an implementation deadline and what to do about the training and steps already taken to transition to the new codes. So far, none has been given.<\/p>\n

Due to the uncertainty, Florida Chiropractic Conferences has postponed our ICD-10 Boot Camp for all dates. We will continue to monitor the situation as it progresses and will reschedule for later dates if appropriate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
